Avant Healthcare Professionals Celebrates Completion of Classroom Construction Project at Ilbissil Township Comprehensive School
Newly constructed classrooms for Grade 9
In the heart of Kajiado County, Kenya, the sound of celebration filled the air as two newly constructed classrooms opened their doors to eager learners at Ilbissil Township Comprehensive School. These classrooms are more than just buildings; they are a symbol of what’s possible when we work together.
Building on Momentum
This project marks a new chapter in Avant Healthcare Professionals’ ongoing commitment to the school through our Global Impact initiative. In 2024, we helped give the school a full facelift, replacing roofs, repairing windows, painting walls, upgrading floors, and adding desks. When students returned, they walked into bright, welcoming classrooms filled with pride and renewed energy. Today, we’re honored to help make room for even more students to learn, grow, and dream big.
The transformation was more than physical. The ripple effects were immediate. Attendance rose. Energy shifted. And even community members began asking if they could attend computer classes, eager to be part of the change; a powerful reminder of how education can uplift entire communities.
A Growing Collaboration
Our relationship with Ilbissil began in 2023 with efforts to support basic needs such as uniforms, health education, and infrastructure. With enrollment now surpassing 1,000 students and the school recently approved to add Grade 9, a new challenge emerged as there wasn’t enough space.
We joined forces with school leaders to create a solution.

These two new classrooms will:
- Alleviate overcrowding
- Provide a dedicated space for Grade 9 learners
- Support continued enrollment as more families choose Ilbissil for their children’s education
Last month, we joined school leaders, students, county officials, and members of the community to officially hand over the new classrooms. It was a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and the belief that when we invest in education, we invest in changing lives.
