Avant Healthcare Professionals Recognized in Spring 2022 Digital Health Awards

Avant Healthcare Professionals, the premier staffing provider of internationally experienced nursing and allied health professionals, today announced it was named among the winners of the 2022 Spring Digital Health Awards. The company earned a Silver honor in the Digital Health Media/Publications category for its “Understanding Violence and Aggression in the Nursing Profession” e-book and received two Merit honors for its “5 Long-Term Effects of the Nursing Shortage” and “What to Expect: The State of Nurse Staffing in 2022” blog posts.

The “Understanding Violence and Aggression in the Nursing Profession” e-book offers insight on the triggers and types of violence and aggression that nurses face, along with strategies and tips that hospitals and hospital staff can employ to counter both in the workplace. The “5 Long-Term Effects of the Nursing Shortage” blog explores the causes and effects of the nursing shortage and what that means for healthcare facilities, as well as patient care. The “What to Expect: The State of Nurse Staffing in 2022” blog examines today’s nurse staffing shortage and highlights trends that hospitals will see in 2022 and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each year, the Digital Health Awards honor the best digital health resources developed for consumers and health professionals. The awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. Due to the dynamic nature of digital health, the competition is held twice each year — spring and fall. The Digital Health Awards is an extension of the HIRC’s National Health Information Awards, the largest program of its kind in the United States.
