Summary of Position Role/Responsibilities

The ESS department provides on-going support to our Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) from a cultural adjustment standpoint for the entirety of their contract. ESS leads the Culture Shock lecture which takes place during the cultural transitions program. They also manage CEU reimbursement, PTO, Newsletter updates and more for the HCP. 

The ESS Coordinator position provides operational support and communication to the ESS department and HCPs.  This position will be the main point of contact for Paid Time Off (PTO) related inquiries for HCPs and internal departments. The ESS Coordinator will also assist in general HR and ESS related administrative responsibilities as assigned.                                                                                  

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Assist and/or administer a variety of support duties including office clerical duties; responding to and resolving HCP PTO inquiries, escalating any issues to senior team members and leaders
  • Process End of Contract (EOC) packets for HCPs and ensure timely mailing of such packets
  • Generating monthly and ad-hoc reports as required
  • Assist in monitoring and responding to the ESS inbox and escalate any tier 1 issues as needed
  • Document and update department guidelines and procedures as required
  • Operate HR systems and maintain confidential and employment related data
  • Contribute to the attainment of specific departmental and company goals and results
  • Assist other members of the department as needed
  • Handle requests from senior team members and leaders as needed

Marginal Functions of the Job

  • Other duties as assigned.

Normal Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • High school or equivalent degree required, Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered 
  • Minimum of 1 year of general HR experience or business environment preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate competency with database management and other HRIS software required
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft environment (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Pro/FoxIT)

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Specific Requirements of Law

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain
