Avant Healthcare Professionals Earns Three Honors at the 39th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards

Avant Healthcare Professionals, the premier staffing provider of internationally experienced nursing and allied health professionals, today announced that its “Understanding Violence and Aggression in the Nursing Profession” e-book won a Silver honor in the “E-Publication” category at the 39th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. In addition, the company’s “Understanding Cultural Differences in the Nursing Profession” blog received a Bronze in the “Equality & Diversity Promotion” category, and its “2021 Trends in Nurse Staffing Study” won a Merit honor in the “Annual Report” category.
More than 4,400 entries were received in this year’s Healthcare Advertising Awards, making it the largest healthcare advertising competition and among the 10 largest advertising awards programs.
Avant’s “Understanding Violence and Aggression in the Nursing Profession” e-book provides tips to combat nursing violence in healthcare facilities and strategies for countering aggression in the nursing profession. The company’s “Understanding Cultural Differences in the Nursing Profession” blog spotlights the importance of diversity, the downsides of not having diverse staff and how to promote diversity within nursing teams. Avant’s “2021 Trends in Nurse Staffing Study” contains data and insights from more than 100 hospital executives and senior leaders across the U.S., including CEOs, CNOs and HR executives working in extensive healthcare systems, critical access hospitals and state facilities.
A national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Gold awards were presented to 512 entries, silver awards to 360 entries and bronze awards to 249 entries.
